DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) launched yesterday its advocacy campaign, One Good Vote, at the University of Pangasinan.

Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Luie Guia, PPCRV chairman Henrietta de Villa and Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas were present at the launch.

More than a thousand parishioners from the diocese attended the event aimed at eradicating vote-buying in the May 2016 elections.

Guia urged PPCRV members to post vote-buying and other election irregularities on Facebook and Twitter.

De Villa, for her part, asked the Comelec to strictly implement the gun ban.
