MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday reported that the Philippines will experience a storm-free fair weather in most parts of the country until Wednesday.

PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said there are no weather disturbances seen near the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), indicating that the country will remain storm-free in the next two to three days.

The weather bureau however said that there will be isolated storms despite the forecasted fair weather.

Aurelio said the cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorms will likely occur in the afternoon or evening and will be experienced in the rest of the country due to the ridge of high-pressure area extending to extreme Northern Luzon.

PAGASA said the Northern and Central Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough due to the moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to southeast.

On the other hand, the rest of the country’s winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to southeast with slight to moderate seas.

Meanwhile, fishermen are safe to venture into the sea as there are no gale warnings issued.
