Leni Robredo still undecided on VP bid
MANILA, Philippines - Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo on Monday admitted that she remains undecided on being the running mate of Liberal Party standard bearer Manuel "Mar" Roxas II in the 2016 elections, citing that she does not have political ambitions.
Robredo said in an interview with ABS-CBN News that she will not regret her decision if ever she turns down Roxas's offer to be his vice president.
The lawmaker said that she is still is the process of discerning and noted that she may not be able to decide by Wednesday, when the Liberal Party is scheduled to announce its vice presidential candidate.

"Sana maintindihan ng mga tao na nanay ako, hindi ko basta pwedeng talikuran ang mga anak ko. Hanggang hindi okay sa mga anak ko, hindi ako okay," Robredo said.
It has been reported that Robredo's daughters are not in favor of their mother seeking the vice presidency.
President Benigno Aquino III and Roxas met with Robredo and her children last week.
Robredo earlier said that she will only run for vice president if nobody else is up for the post.
