MANILA, Philippines – After topping the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey for the second time, Sen. Grace Poe said results reflected that she and her team are on the right track.

Fresh from declaring her presidential bid, Poe once again ranked first in the recent SWS survey which she described as a validation of their agenda.

“Our growing support from the people, as reflected in this survey, is an affirmation that what we have started is on the right track,” Poe said.

“It's a validation that our agenda for transparency, efficiency and honesty resonate well with our people,” she added.

Poe also expressed gratefulness amid the continued public trust she enjoys.

“From the bottom of my heart, I thank the Filipino people for their support and trust. I am again humbled that our kababayans continue to appreciate our hard work and the brand of governance that we are upholding and pushing,” Poe said.

The senator vowed to use the survey results and Filipino’s support as an inspiration to serve the public accordingly.

“As a public servant, I will continue to carry out our mandate and serve the people. Our people's unwavering support remains an inspiration,” she said.

Poe led the SWS survey released late Sunday with a five-point jump from her second quarter survey ratings. Her 47-percent rating bested those of Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas and Vice President Jejomar “Jojo” Binay at the second and third place, respectively.

Last Wednesday, Poe officially announced her presidential candidacy followed by another announcement that Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero will be her running mate for the 2016 elections.
