Binay slams administration for traffic woes
MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Jejomar Binay on Sunday criticized the current administration for the worsening traffic situation in Metro Manila.
"Sagot ng administrasyon sa paghihirap na ito 'Ay naku, e di mag-bus kayo, kung angal kayo nang angal imbes na mag-tren," Binay said during his speech during the oath-taking of the members of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) in Bulacan.
The vice president is be the standard-bearer of the UNA in the 2016 national elections, but he yet to choose his running mate for the forthcoming elections.
Earlier reports stated that Binay is considering Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. as his vice-presidential candidate.

Marcos, meanwhile, admitted that he is open to running with Binay as a team in the 2016 polls.
Actress Alma Moreno, Princess Jacel Kiram and lawyer Harry Roque are among the confirmed senatorial candidates of the opposition party.
