MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile, Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. and former Sen. Edgardo Angara and 17 other former and current lawmakers are facing malversation complaints in connection to the alleged misuse of their Priority Development Assistance Funds (PDAF).

Lawyer Levito Baligod, the former counsel of several pork barrel scam whistleblowers, filed the complaint on Wednesday containing affidavits of four witnesses against the PDAF scam.

The other respondents of the case are the following:

  • former House Speaker Prospero Nograles
  • former Catanduanes Rep. Joseph Santiago
  • former Bohol Rep. Roberto Cajes
  • former Aklan Rep. Florencio Miraflores
  • Iloilo Rep. Neil Tupas
  • Yacap Partylist Rep. Carol Lopez
  • Laguna Rep. Edgar San Luis
  • Bulacan Rep. Arturo Robes
  • Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Director General Joel Villanueva
  • former Nueva Ecija Rep. Rodolfo Antonino
  • Albay Rep. Reno Lim
  • Negros Occidental Rep. Julio Ledesma IV
  • Laguna Rep. Evita Arago
  • Pangasinan Rep. Rachel Arenas
  • Oriental Mindoro Rep. Alfonso Umali
  • Albay Rep. Al Francis Bichara
  • Misamis Occidental Rep. Marina Clarete

According to the complaint, the National Agri-Business Corporation, which is under the Department of Agriculture, received P1.6 billion of PDAF. About P500 million from the said fund went to the so-called non-government organizations (NGOs) of alleged pork barrel mastermind Janet Lim Napoles.

Meanwhile, the rest of the funds went to other NGOs with the similar modus operandi as that of Napoles.

The affidavits of the affiants revealed that the PDAF of 20 legislators amounting to P490,685,000 was misused.
