Enrile returns to work at Senate
MANILA, Philippines - Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile on Monday returned to work at the Senate after posting bail.
Last week, the 91-year-old senator left his place of detention at the Philippine National Police General Hospital after posting a P1.45-million bail and paying P59,400 worth of hospital bills.
According to a report from STAR, Enrile is expected to attend the regular session within the day.

Citing Enrile's poor health and old age, the Supreme Court (SC) granted his bail petition.
Meanwhile, President Benigno Aquino III questioned the SC's decision of granting bail to Enrile due to humanitarian considerations, arguing that it has no connection with the evidence presented against Enrile in the pork barrel scam.
