Jinggoy wants Guingona to present report on Luy’s digital files
MANILA, Philippines - The camp of detained Sen. Jinggoy Estrada has asked the Sandiganbayan Fifth Division to require Sen. Teofisto Guingona III to appear in court to present forensic examination reports conducted on the digital computer files of Benhur Luy.
In a two-page motion for subpoena duces tecum, Estrada requested the anti-graft court to require Guingona, chairman of the Senate Blue Ribbon committee, and lawyer Rodolfo Quimbo, director-general of the Senate panel, to appear before the clerk of court of the Fifth Division on Aug. 11, 12, 13, 18, 20, 25, 26 and 27 all at 8:30 a.m.
Apart from the forensic examination reports conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Luy’s computer external hard drive for the Blue Ribbon committee’s inquiry on the PDAF scam, Estrada’s counsels also requested copies of the printouts of digital electronic bills contained in the hard drive that included information on the PDAF allocations of various lawmakers from 2004 to 2012 that were submitted to the committee.
A witness for the prosecution, Dario Sabilano, a certified computer hacking forensic investigator of the NBI, was presented yesterday in court.
