Winning presidency is 99% prayer – Binay

DAVAO CITY, Philippines  – Winning the presidency is 99 percent prayer and Vice President Jejomar Binay says he is definitely praying for it. 

He told The STAR yesterday that the presidency is destiny “and destiny is what you pray for.”

The Vice President, who arrived here over the weekend to grace the 50th anniversary celebration of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines-Davao City chapter, considers himself a candidate for president in the May 2016 elections as he had declared his intention to run for the country’s highest office.

Binay said it means a lot for him to pray because he draws strength from prayer.

“Believe it or not I say my prayers in the morning and in the evening,” he said, adding that he is always misty-eyed when he asks for guidance from the Lord.
