MANILA, Philippines - President Benigno Aquino III plans on praying for his "haters" during the Holy Week.
"Siguro pagmumuni-munihan ko 'yung 'di ba some quarters have this intense hate that they have continuously exhibited. Siguro I'll concentrate in praying for them," Aquino told members of the press on Wednesday when asked about his plans for the Holy Week.
During his Lenten message, the president urged the public to reflect on Christ's humility and selfless sacrifice.

Aquino said that his spiritual adviser told him to have some "quiet time" but the day's news did not allow him to.
"So far wala pa tayong quiet time," the president said.
The president went to inspect the Batangas Port Passenger Terminal on Wednesday in preparation for the Holy Week.
Malacañang earlier announced that Aquino will stay in Manila for the Holy Week to monitor the coming typhoon which is forecasted to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
