JBC accepts applicants for CA posts

MANILA, Philippines — The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) yesterday announced it is accepting applications for four associate justice positions in the Court of Appeals (CA).

The JBC said two posts in the appellate court have been vacated by the retirement of Associate Justice Rebecca de Guia-Salvador on Jan. 21 and the demise of Associate Justice Michael Elbinias on Nov. 26, 2014.

Two more CA posts will be vacated when Associate Justices Hakim Abdulwahid and Isaias Dicdican retire from office on June 12 and July 4, respectively.

Those interested should submit their applications to the JBC on or before March 24.
