MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Justice on Friday announced that it has found probable cause to indict Dalia Pastor, widow of the slain international racing driver Enzo Pastor.
Businessman Domingo "Sandy" de Guzman, whom Dalia allegedly had an illicit affair, was also indicted for murder for the June 12, 2014 killing of Pastor.
Dalia and De Guzman were tagged by police as suspects in Pastor's death in August 2014 after Pasay City cop Edgar Angel claimed to have been paid to kill Pastor as he was traveling with his assistant along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.
Several witnesses had said De Guzman and Pastor's wife were in a romantic relationship and could have plotted the racing champion's killing.

Pastor's assistant, Paolo Salazar, who was wounded during the ambush, said in his sworn testimony that Dalia advised him and Pastor to pass through the route where they were attacked.
De Guzman was arrested for illegal gun possession weeks after the incident and has been freed on bail.
Dalia and De Guzman had denied having an affair and being involved in Pastor's murder. - reports from Edu Punay
