LIVE: Senate inquiry into Mamasapano clash - Day 4
MANILA, Philippines — The Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs continues its inquiry into the incident in Mamasapano, Maguindanao on Monday, Feb. 23, 2015.
Issues on the United States' alleged involvement in the anti-terror police Special Action Force (SAF) operation on January 25 that spiraled into a fire fight with Moro rebels, killing 44 policemen, is expected to be addressed.
Sen. Grace Poe, chair of the Senate panel, said that President Benigno Aquino III's reaction after he was informed of the clash will also be discussed.
