Public sees popemobile for the first time
MANILA, Philippines - One of the popemobiles was bared to the public for the first time as thousands of people await the arrival of Pope Francis on Thursday afternoon.

Pope Francis boarded the plane from Sri Lanka arond 11:45 a.m. and is expected to land at the Villamor Air Base at 5:45 p.m.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda, the popemobile will pass through the south bound lane of Roxas Boulevard while the crowd will stay along the north bound lane.

The Roman Pontiff will use three popemobiles on his five-day state and apostolic visit in the Philippines.
The Isuzu popemobile will be used to welcome the Pope from Villamor Air Base on Thursday and to transport him to Malacañang, Manila Cathedral and SM Mall of Asia Arena on Friday.
