NAIA 1, which used to be the worst airport according to "The Guide to Sleeping Airports," is now under rehabilitation and is set to be finished by February 2015.

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Transportation and Communications’s (DOTC) rehabilitation project of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is set to be completed by the end of February 2015.

On his Twitter account, DOTC Spokesperson Migs Sagcal posted photos of the "new look" of NAIA Terminal 1.

NAIA Terminal 1 ranks fourth in the list of Worst Airports of "The Guide to Sleeping Airports."

The said airport used to be the "worst" in the list but saw an improvement when its rehabilitation started.

“After three years at the top our worst airports lists, Manila NAIA saw a slight ‘improvement’ in its ranking as a result of increased positive votes for its Terminal 3," The Guide to Sleeping Airports said.

Guide to Sleeping Airports' annual survey asks travellers to consider comfort, convenience, cleanliness and customer service.
