Classes suspended on Friday for 'Ruby'

MANILA, Philippines - Local government units suspended classes on Friday due to the threat of Super Yyphoon "Ruby" (international name "Hagupit").

The center of "Ruby" was spotted 500 kilometers east of Borongan, Eastern Samar at 4 a.m. Friday. Typhoon signals have been raised in 34 areas.
