Flights cancelled, diverted due to 'Mario'

MANILA, Philippines - Several domestic and international flights were suspended and diverted on Friday morning due to the bad weather brought on by Tropical Storm "Mario."

The Manila International Airport Authority said six international flights from China, Singapore and Thailand were diverted to Clark and Cebu international airports due to the bad weather in Metro Manila, where the Ninoy Aquino International Airport is located.

The affected international flights were:

MU211 Pudong China to Manila - Diverted to Cebu
TR2728 Singapore to Manila - Diverted to Clark
3K763 Singapore to Manila - Diverted to Clark
5J258 Bangkok to Manila - Diverted to clark
5J679 Pudong China to Manila - Diverted to clark
5J752 Singapore to Manila - Diverted to Clark

Four domestic flights have been cancelled as of 9 a.m. due to the bad weather. These include:

5J513 Manila to San Jose
5J514 San Jose to Manila
5M816 Manila to Basco
5M815 Basco to Manila
