MANILA, Philippines - Former Technology Resource Center (TRC) chief Dennis Cunanan on Friday posted bail before the Sandiganbayan for seven counts of graft filed against him in connection with the pork barrel fund scam.
Cunanan, who had applied to become state witness in the pork barrel fund scam, went to the anti-graft court's First, Third and Fifth divisions to post the required bail bond.
The court had set P30,000 bail bond for those facing graft charges over the pork barrel fund scam.
Cunanan is facing four counts of graft charges before the First Division, two counts with the Third Division and one count before the Fifth Division.
The former TRC chief is accused of using the center as a conduit for the illegal transactions between lawmakers and bogus non-government organizations of pork scam operator Janet Lim Napoles.
During a hearing last March at the Senate, Cunanan repeatedly denied that he received kickbacks from the illegal pork barrel transactions.
Pork scam whistleblower Benhur Luy had accused Cunanan of receiving more than P900,000 in kickbacks from Napoles.
