Phl hosts Bomanite Int’l confab
MANILA, Philippines - Bomanite International Ltd., a global leader in decorative concrete paving solutions, is holding its four-day annual conference starting tomorrow at the Movenpick Hotel in Cebu.
Bomanite’s exclusive partner in the Philippines, Cypress Bomanite, and its regional affiliate, Bomanite SE Asia, are hosting the event with more than 10 countries attending.
Bomanite International Ltd. has been at the forefront of concrete paving innovations and this year, it has invited Chris Sullivan to be one of the keynote speakers at the conference.
Sullivan is a renowned speaker at the World of Concrete trade show held annually in Las Vegas. He will be discussing the latest trends in decorative concrete flooring and how it is one of the most sustainable flooring options in the market as several of its systems contribute to LEED points and some have even passed the Green Label certification from Singapore.
In this year’s technical workshop, another focus will be on concrete floor restoration without the need of demolishing or replacing the existing floor.
Bomanite’s liquid coloration system (Renew, Patene Artectura) and its topping system (Microtop, Thinset) are timely products that help restore old flooring into looking like new. Another exciting product will be Bomanite’s Pervious Flooring system – a cast on site pervious or porous flooring solution that helps minimize or mitigate flood with its ability to absorb water.
Bomanite International Ltd. has chosen the Philippines to be the host, as the country continues to show strong revenue growth with its continued construction boom.
Bomanite continues to support emerging markets in the Asia-Pacific region with the appointment of John Dennis as its general manager.
Dennis is going to be based in the Philippines to oversee the growth of Bomanite in the region as well as to support all other licensees all over the world.
Serious fun is expected at the event, as the hosts will focus on the Department of Tourism’s slogan “It’s more fun in the Philippines.â€
