Cops’ sons top PNPA graduates
MANILA, Philippines - Like father, like son.
The top three cadets in this year’s graduating class of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) are sons of police officers.
Topping the “Mandilaab†Class of 2014 is Police Cadet Glenn Tabo Santelices, son of PO3 Heide Santelices.
First among 202 graduating cadets, Santelices will receive the Presidential Kampilan Award and Plaque of Merit, 1st Place.
Ranking second is Police Cadet Bryan John Dayag Baccay, son of retired policeman Nelson Baccay. He will receive the Vice President Kampilan Award and Plaque of Merit, 2nd Place.
At third is Police Cadet Allan Benedict Ramos Rosete, son of policeman Benny Rosete. He will receive the SILG Kampilan Award and Plaque of Merit, 3rd Place.
The top three are followed by Police Cadets Ermelo Garcia Dichoso Jr., Jade Rivera Gamboa, Andy Ray Asturias Geronilla, Michael John Luciano Verzosa, Jayson Rey Sadueste Florin, Robin Llanes Martin and Ian Marc Serrano Polestico; Jail Cadet Edwin Garpida Bulatao; Fire Cadet Arvin Jude Asuncion Rapanot, and Police Cadet San Roget King Llanto Ho.
The leadership of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) and the PNPA said the 202 graduating cadets are composed of 10 females and 192 males. The commencement exercise is on March 31.
