Ruby Tuason knows more on Enrile's involvement - lawyer
MANILA, Philippines - Socialite Ruby Tuason has yet to reveal everything that she knows on the multi-billion pork barrel fund scam, a lawyer representing whistleblower Benhur Luy said Monday.
Lawyer Levito Baligod said that during a meeting between Tuason and Luy, the lady whistleblower had revealed more than what she testified during the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing last Thursday.
"Naniniwala ako na marami pang alam si Ginang Tuason na hindi lang niya naibabahagi sa 'tin dahil hindi naman siya tinatanong," Baligod said in an interview over radio dzMM.
The lawyer said that the other senators, who are known as good legal professionals, failed to throw "inquisitive, incisive questions" at the new provisionary state witness.
Baligod recalled that Tuason had said more details when she met with Luy and the other whistle-blowers at the National Bureau of Investigation on February 11.

"May mga tinatanong ako na nasasagot niya at nagbibigay siya ng detalye," he said.
Tuason had told him about an event when she handed kickbacks to Jessica "Gigi" Reyes during a coffee break.
Baligod said that according to Tuason, Enrile would later join her and Reyes for coffee. He said that Tuason claimed seeing the bag filled with the kickback cash being carried by one of Enrile's security people.
Baligod, however, believes that Tuason is not attempting to clear Enrile from the scheme, which is purportedly masterminded by detained businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles.
"Sa aking personal na pakikipag-usap [with Tuason] at pagkakainintindi ko sa kanyang affidavit, matibay naman po ang kanyang sinabi," the lawyer said.
Baligod came with the statement amid doubts on Tuason's real motive in surfacing and volunteering to become a state witness.
Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV had said that Tuason may be a Trojan horse released by Enrile so that his name would be cleared from the pork barrel fund scam.
