MANILA, Philippines - A closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera has captured the vehicle of advertising executive Kristelle Davantes as it entered and exited the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) on the day she disappeared, a police official said yesterday.
Chief Superintendent Christopher Laxa, head of Task Group Kae, said Davantes was alone in her gold Toyota Altis (PIM-966) when it entered the SLEX along C-5 and as it exited at Filinvest in Alabang, Muntinlupa City on Sept. 7.
He said they are reviewing CCTV cameras along Moonwalk and other parts of Las Piñas City with the hope of capturing the suspects flagging down and taking the vehicle from Davantes.
“We have a big number of CCTV being reviewed and we have narrowed down the areas we have to cover in our investigation of the case,†he said. “Hopefully, we hit pay dirt in due time.â€
Laxa said they have not received any significant leads even though the reward for information leading to the solution of the murder was raised to P2.5 million.
Davantes’ car was recovered in Camella 4, Pamplona 3 in Las Piñas City Saturday night.
