MANILA, Philippines - The Office of the President today has raised the reward bounty for the arrest of the killers of advertising executive Kristelle "Kae" Davantes to P2 million, the Philippine National Police said.
PNP spokesman Senior Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac said the P2 million is for anyone who could give information leading to the arrest of the culprits.
The body of Davantes, 25, was found under a bridge in Dasmariñas, Cavite on Sept. 7, just hours after she left her office at Bonifacio Global Center in Taguig City.
Initial police report showed that the victim's mouth was gagged while her hands were tussled up behind her back using a seatbelt. She also bore a wound on the chest.
Earlier, the PNP and Taguig City government pooled a P500,000 reward for information that will lead to the early arrest of the suspects.
