List of lawmakers with excessive 'pork' from 2007 to 2009

MANILA, Philippines - The Commission on Audit said that the total allocation for the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) for 2007, 2008 and 2009 was P79.878 billion. Each congressional district is programmed to receive P70 million per year and each senator P200 million per year.

The fund is distributed to soft and hard projects. For a member of the House's, the fund should be broken as P30 million for soft and P40 million for hard projects while the senator's fund should be broken as P100 million for soft and P100 for hard projects.

Soft Projects are categorized under education, health, livelihood, comprehensive integrated delivery of social services, financial assistance for pro-poor programs, historical, arts and culture, peace and order and small infrastructure projects (irrigation, rural electrification, water supply, housing and forest management)

Hard Projects are categorized under public works such as roads, bridges, flood control, school buildings, hospitals, health facilities, public market, multi-purpose building and pavement
