AFP chief to speak at MOPC today

MANILA, Philippines - Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Emmanuel Bautista will be the keynote speaker at the ‘AFP Night’ organized by the Manila Overseas Press Club (MOPC) at the Grand Ballroom of the InterContinental Hotel in Makati City today.

Bautista will talk on current security issues, including the ongoing negotiations for the increased rotational presence of US troops in the country, according to MOPC chairman and STAR columnist Babe Romualdez.

Following the speech is an open forum with the AFP chief answering questions from a select panel of journalists and guests from the business sector, government, media and the diplomatic circle. For more information, call the MOPC Secretariat at 994-6738.
