SC appoints new MCLE board

MANILA, Philippines - The Supreme Court has appointed the new members of the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education governing board.

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila College of Law dean Ernesto Maceda Jr. was chosen by the court to represent the Philippine Association of Law Schools (PALS). Maceda is the incumbent president of PALS.

He is joined on the board by University of the Philippines College of Law dean Danilo Concepcion representing the UP Law Center, and Ateneo Law School dean Sedfrey Candelaria representing the Philippine Judicial Academy.

The MCLE Board is headed retired SC associate justice Bernardo Pardo.
