Koko trying to fix marriage

MANILA, Philippines - Re-electionist Sen. Aquilino Pimentel III yesterday called Senate aspirant Juan Miguel Zubiri a “fake senator and a usurper” in response to the latter’s question on why he kept picking on him in campaign sorties.

Pimentel also revealed he and estranged wife Jewel are trying to make their marriage work again.

He said he has no love lost for Zubiri, whom he accused of stealing four years of his term in the Senate after the 2007 elections.

He anchored his campaign slogan, “Tumakbo, Nadaya, Lumaban, Nagtagumpay” on his battle against Zubiri before the Senate Electoral Tribunal. – Marvin Sy, Jess Diaz
