Gonzales, Misuari willing to face NBI probe on Sabah standoff

Jaime Laude - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Former National Security Adviser and ex-defense secretary Norberto Gonzales and Nur Misuari, chairman of the National Moro Liberation Front, are ready to face an investigation on their alleged links to the Sabah crisis.

Earlier, Malacañang Palace said a group of individuals may have conspired and influenced Sultan Jamalul Kiram III of the Royal Sultanate of Sulu in his decision to send his brother Datu Raja Muda Agbimuddin Kiram with more than 200 followers to Sabah to reclaim their homeland from Malaysia.

Among the individuals or so-called Sabah "conspirators" are Pastor “Boy” Saycon of the Council of Philippine Affairs (COPA), Gonzales, and Misuari. On separate occasions, the three said they were willing to face a probe by the National Bureau of Investigation.
