MANILA, Philippines - The STAR obtained a list of the names of the 34 rescued overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Algeria who were flown to Spain.
The list was submitted to Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario by Price Waterhouse Coopers Legal LLP working with the British Petroleum, StatOil and Petrofac at Gatwick.
The rescued OFWs are Florante Abrea, Alejandro Aguja, Rufemilomnes Agustin, Bonifacio Alcantara, Adolf Bulac Amoyo, Ricardo Aquino, Renato Arceta, Maximo Barawid, Lito Bronce, Daniel Cachuala, Edwin Canete, Ricardo Patena Castaneda, Arnold Cruz;
Gerry Dumlao, Joselito Ebalo, Teodoro Evero, Rafael Jovellanos, Arthur Mendoza, Rolando Mendoza, Joseph Merquez, Leo Miguel, Wilson Palanis, Evero Jeoffrey Paloga, Joey Patena, Efren Perez;
Oscar Reyes, Gregorio Rillera, Artemio Salvador, Francisco Sarte;
Manuel Tiongson, Geoffrey Tongcua, Rommel Tuazon, Cirilo Joseph Tuandag, and Rafael Jovellanos.
