Robinsons Magnolia lights up giant Christmas tree
MANILA, Philippines - A magnificent Christmas tree at Robinsons Magnolia’s impressive atrium has been lit up in a grand ceremony that officially signaled the start of the holiday season at Robinsons Malls.
The Christmas tree towers at 28 feet and is decorated with magnolia flowers and ornate Christmas balls in traditional holiday hues.
Extra large pine cones, gold leaves, assorted fruits and berries and a gold tree topper add elegance to the Christmas tree. Energy-efficient warm white LEDs light up the whole tree.
The grand lighting event featured Gary Valenciano, one of the country’s most iconic artists, who brought the event guests and mallers up on their feet with his performance and humor.
Also providing entertainment were Asia’s Harp Angel Noelle Cassandra, Robinsons Malls’ endorser Solenn Heussaff, and a new girl group, AKA Jam (X-Factor Philippines). Karylle hosted the event.
The event kicked off a marvelous lineup of holiday activities, collectively known as “The Sights and Sounds of Christmas” at Robinsons Malls.
This exciting lineup includes the annual Giant Lantern Festival at Robinsons Starmills Pampanga, the SpongeBob SquarePants live show caravan dubbed as “Krabby Patty Celebration,” the Viva Entertainment Christmas Concert Series, the Hallmark Music and Memories Chorale Competition, plus weekly grand fireworks displays and chorale festivals in various Robinsons Malls nationwide.
Over at Robinsons Magnolia, the most-awaited events are the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra concert on Dec. 2, the Holiday Laser Lights Show on Dec. 8 at the al fresco area, and The Company mall show on Dec. 9.
