MANILA, Philippines - Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump arrive today for Trump Tower Manila event Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump are scheduled to arrive today in Manila.
The sons of the business tycoon and real estate magnate Donald Trump will grace the official launch event this week of Philippine developer Century Properties for Trump Tower Manila.
“We look forward to visiting Manila and the groundbreaking of this incredible property,” said Eric. “Year after year Manila is growing more rapidly, and has become one of the most prominent cities in Asia. Trump Tower Manila will be an incredible building and unlike anything else seen in the Philippines and beyond,” he added.
The building’s inaugural will comprise a press conference, groundbreaking ceremonies and an evening reception exclusive to the owners of the project.
Announced in September 2011, Trump Tower Manila is a $150-million, 56-storey residential building that is owned and developed by Century City Development Corp., a member of Century Properties Group, Inc., with the brand name and mark under license from the New York-based Trump.
The project, which has sold 67 percent of its more than 220 units, will rise in 2016 at the 3.4-hectare vertical village called Century City in Kalayaan Avenue, Makati .
“We are bringing a Trump-branded residence to the Philippines because we believe that Trump exemplifies the best quality of real estate anywhere in the world. This visit by the Trumps is a testament that they recognize the Philippines as a premiere platform for world-class developments,” said Robbie Antonio, Century Properties managing director and Trump Tower Manila project head.
In late April, Trump Tower Manila received two highly coveted International Property Awards for Asia Pacific: the Best Residential High-rise and the Best High-rise Architecture titles in the Philippines category.
Also part of the Trumps’ itinerary is to join a scheduled medical mission in Manila by Operation Smile Philippines, a non-profit organization that conducts surgeries for children with cleft lip and cleft palette deformities.
Robbie Antonio and Donald Trump Jr. are active members of the board of Operation Smile in the Philippines and and the US, respectively.
Eric Trump is the active founder of the Eric Trump Foundation, a charity organization dedicated to improving the lives of children battling debilitating medical conditions.
