Noy seeing someone new, say insiders

MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino has been seeing someone new in the past few weeks, Malacañang sources said.

The sources refused to disclose the identity of the new apple of the President’s eye to protect her privacy.

The President was spotted with his “date” at the Bonifacio High Street Central in Taguig City where they entered some shops and dined in a steak house on Thursday night.

On Twitter, the “sighting” of the President and his date, along with Transportation and Communications Secretary Manuel Roxas II, was immediately flashed but the person who tweeted could not identify the woman with Aquino.

Roxas confirmed he was there at the restaurant on Thursday night but refused to talk about the President and his date.

One of the sources who saw the woman described her as fair-skinned and pretty.

Other sources said they would not give the name of the woman to give her and the President time to get to know each other.

“We don’t know the name. Baka maudlot (It might fall through),” they said.

They only laughed when asked if the President was indeed seeing a 29-year-old banker or a third-year college student.

The sources said the President was not really inclined to get married until after his term ends in 2016.

They said Aquino had gone out a few times on dates last month after he stopped seeing TV host Grace Lee.
