Superbods all set to wow Boracay

MANILA, Philippines - The Superbods are all fired up and ready to make Boracay the hottest destination this summer. Witness the sizzling battle of the healthiest and sexiest bodies as they compete for a chance to win in the Century Tuna Superbods 2012: Salute to Sexy, to be held tomorrow.

The Superbods finalists were introduced to the media in a well-attended sendoff party held at Opus Lounge, which was also graced by Century Tuna endorsers Solenn Heusaff and Aljur Abrenica.

Armed with their fit and sexy bodies as well as their wit and personality, 20 Superbods finalists – 10 male and 10 female – are all set to outshine their competitors in the toughest challenges yet in Century Tuna Superbods history. They will compete in larger-than-life obstacle courses around Boracay to prove that they have what it takes to be Century Tuna’s newest image models.       

The paradise island is also expected to sizzle not only because of the Superbods finalists but also because of celebrities gracing the event. Century Tuna endorsers Derek Ramsay, Abrenica, Heusaff and new Century Tuna endorser Anne Curtis as well as “it” girl Georgina Wilson will spice up the already sizzling beachfront with their presence.     

This year’s finalists come from different walks of life, but they are all ready to prove that, just like these celebrity endorsers, they have what it takes to be Century Tuna’s health ambassadors. There are sports buffs like football player Charlie Sutcliffe, 23, basketball player AJ Hanson, 20, and volleyball player Monika Sta. Maria, 20. Azel Shane Smith, 20, also loves extreme sports while Janet Emmrich, 23, is into water sports like surfing and wakeboarding.

Finalists will also get a chance to win 1st and 2nd runners-up, Mr. and Ms. Photogenic, Best in Beach Bodies, and the People’s Choice winners, which will be given to the male and female finalists with the most number of online votes. Male and female winners in the Race Challenge competition will also get exciting prizes.

The Century Tuna Superbods 2012: Salute to Sexy is the hottest summer event in Boracay with fun and thrilling activities lined up for lucky guests! Lounge booths will be set up where guests and finalists can enjoy Century Tuna treats and other food and beverages during the event. Raffle prizes that will surely delight guests will also be up for grabs.

Guests and finalists can also party the night away with an after-pageant party set at the rooftop of District, the newest posh resort in Boracay. The celebration will also feature one of Manila’s most famous hip-hop DJs, Mars Miranda.
