MALOLOS CITY, Philippines - Triplets were born to a farmer and his wife at the Bulacan Medical Center (BMC) on Feb. 29.
Analyn Santos, 27, a resident of Barangay Kabayunan in the mountain town of Doña Remedios Trinidad, gave birth to the triplets one after the other in just three minutes, according to Dr. Protacio Badjao, BMC director.
Analyn’s husband, Philip took her to the BMC on Wednesday. The triplets were born via caesarian section.
Records showed that the first baby was born at 12:38 p.m. on Wednesday, followed by the second at 12:39 p.m. and the third at 12:40 p.m.
The triplets were named Simon, Sakira and Shiennie.
Analyn and her husband Philip have expressed concern over the future of the triplets.
Philip said they might have a hard time raising the triplets.
They now need more medicine as Analyn was diagnosed with Hepatitis B, he added.
Doctors said Analyn might infect her babes with hepatitis B.
She needs to be vaccinated with Hepa BIG vaccine, doctors added.
