MANILA, Philippines - A Filipino businesswoman was found dead inside her office in Paris.
A GMA-7 news report said Ellen Ortega-Apilado, 47, owner of a travel agency, was stabbed in the neck.
The police said it would view closed circuit television footage in the victim’s office to try to identify the suspect.
The report said authorities were looking at robbery as motive in the killing of the Filipina.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) was still awaiting an official report from the Philippine embassy in France on the death of Apilado.
“We have not seen a report on this yet. But we will check it,” said DFA spokesperson Raul Hernandez.
