Most parts of Phl to have cloudy skies, rainshowers - PAGASA
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) yesterday said that most parts of the country would have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
In its 5 p.m. forecast, PAGASA said that a wind convergence would affect the eastern section of Southern Luzon, while the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) would influence Palawan and Mindanao.
The state weather bureau said that Palawan, Mindanao and the eastern section of Southern Luzon would experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country, meanwhile, would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast would prevail over Luzon, and coastal waters would be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds would be light to moderate coming from east to northeast, and seas would be slight to moderate.
