Hillary Clinton-Noy meeting set on Nov. 15
MANILA, Philippines - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be in the Philippines on Nov. 15 for a bilateral meeting with President Aquino, Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario said yesterday.
Del Rosario made the announcement on the sidelines of Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang’s official visit here.
Del Rosario said Clinton will arrive in the Philippines from the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Hawaii from Nov. 12 to 13. From the Philippines, she will proceed to Bali, Indonesia for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit on Nov. 17 to 19.
The President will also attend the summits.
Del Rosario said Clinton will have discussions with Aquino on various bilateral and multilateral issues as well as areas cooperation.
