Timeline of execution

RAMON CANOVAS-CREDO AND SALLY ORDINARIO-VILLANUEVA - Xiamen

7:50 a.m. Family members, accompanied by Philippine Consulate General officials, arrive at Xiamen No. 1 Detention House.

8 a.m. – 9 a.m. Respective families and consulate officials visit Ramon Credo and Sally Ordinario-Villanueva at separate visitation booths.

9 a.m. Relatives depart the Detention House for the Intermediate People’s Court.

9:40 a.m –10:40 a.m. Final and executory sentences first on Credo and then Villanueva are promulgated at the 2nd  Criminal Tribunal of the Intermediate People’s Court.

10:40 a.m. Credo and Villanueva are taken to the venue for carrying out capital punishment.

12:00 p.m. Relatives, with Philippine Consulate General officials, go to the Xiamen Funeral Parlor for the formal presentation and viewing of Villanueva’s remains.

The Corpse International Travel undertakes the shipment of Villanueva’s remains to the Philippines.

1:35 p.m. Death certificates, passports and other personal effects of Credo and Villanueva are turned over by the Intermediate People’s Court officials to the Philippine Consulate General officials.

The Credo family and consulate officials would claim Credo’s cremated remains at the Xiamen Crematorium at Jimei District.

ELIZABETH BATAIN - Guangzhou

9 a.m.  Relatives of Elizabeth Batain, accompanied by Philippine Consulate General officials, arrive at Shenzhen No. 3 Detention House.

9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Final and executory sentence on Elizabeth Batain promulgated at Shenzhen No. 3 Detention House.

Batain’s relatives and Philippine Consulate General officials attended the promulgation.

10:40 a.m. Relatives and consulate officials visit  Elizabeth Batain.

11:18 a.m. Batain is taken to the venue for carrying out capital punishment.

12:30 p.m. The Philippine Consulate General receives notification from the Guangdong High People’s Court that Batain has been executed.

Arrangements for the shipment of Batain’s remains are being made.
