MANILA, Philippines – Senator Panfilo Lacson finally surfaced before noon today, after more than a year of hiding from authorities.
Lacson arrived at Mactan International Airport in Cebu at 11:42 a.m. today on board Cathay Pacific flight CX921 from Hong Kong.
In the text message, Philippine National Police spokesman Agrimero Cruz said the senator was met immigration officials from Manila headed by Danilo Almeda.
Around 4:30 p.m. today, Lacson departed from Cebu to Manila on board a private Baron-type airplane (RPC 2711).
