MANILA, Philippines - Set realistic goals when making New Year resolutions. Caloocan Bishop Deogracias Iñiguez believes this will spare us from disappointment.
“This usually happens if they are unable to follow their own New Year’s resolutions…These are our commitments, we are resolved to make changes in our lives. Since these are changes, we should make the effort to implement these commitments,” Iñiguez said. Aside from lack of commitment to our resolutions, most also come up with goals that are difficult, if not impossible, to attain. “They should be realistic in coming up with their resolutions… not necessarily easy ones, but we have to study which ones we should prioritize and see if we could accomplish it,” Iñiguez said.
