MANILA, Philippines - Two new Department of Justice (DOJ) undersecretaries formally assumed their posts last Friday.
Lawyer Leah Tanodra-Armamento of Sibalom, Antique, assumed her duties as undersecretary. Armamento was assistant chief state prosecutor and chair of the Task Force on Business Scam before assuming her post.
Malacañang also appointed Ian Norman Dato as acting undersecretary of the DOJ. Dato is currently the head Task Force 211, which is investigating the killings of media men in the country.
