Northern Luzon to have scattered rain showers
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) yesterday afternoon said that extreme northern Luzon would experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
In its 5 p.m. 24-hour public weather forecast, Pagasa said that the extreme part of northern Luzon would experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country, however, would have partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon and evening.
Pagasa also projected that moderate to strong winds from southwest will prevail over northern Luzon and the coastal waters along this area would be moderate to rough.
Light to moderate winds said to blow from southeast to south would be felt over the rest of Luzon and coming from the east to southeast over Visayas and Mindanao.
