Erap turns 73 tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines - Former President Joseph Estrada will celebrate tomorrow his 73rd birthday with supporters that he relocated to his housing project in Montalban, Rizal during his stint as mayor of San Juan.

The relocation site in Montalban, now popularly known as “Erap City,” is the venue of Estrada’s annual birthday celebration.

Estrada is the oldest among the nine candidates running in next month’s presidential elections.

As early as Friday, well-wishers had started sending birthday greetings to Estrada.

Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) director for political affairs Pablo Casimina, a pastor by profession, said he prays that Estrada will be blessed even more.

Meantime, PMP coordinator for Metro Manila Wilson Agbayani said Estrada is destined to win in the May 10 elections.

“You were created by God to succeed, designed to win, equipped to overcome challenges and anointed to be the next president,” Agbayani said.

Nene Amago, PMP regional coordinator for Mega Visayas, wished Estrada would have “no more wardrobe malfunctions.”

Amago was the first to notice the tear in Estrada’s pants during his campaign sortie in Leyte recently.

PMP coordinator for Regions 11 and 12 Peping Agduma wished Estrada good health.

“My birthday wish for our beloved President Erap is that God will grant the desires of his heart and that he will continue to lead his people as president again of our republic,” Agduma said.
