Lotto pot to breach P100 million

MANILA, Philippines - The jackpot for tonight’s draw of the popular Super Lotto 6/49 online lottery will again breach the P100-million mark after no one won the draw last Sunday night.

Larry Cedro, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) spokesman, said the prize of the lotto game for tonight is expected to reach P106 million or more depending on the ticket sales.

The winning combination during last Sunday’s draw was 48-09-17-30-08-16 with a jackpot of P98.6 million.

On the other hand, the jackpot prize of the Power Lotto draw, which is drawn every Saturday, has reached P87.6 million after nobody won the winning combination 05-20-50-34-30 (06).

The Super Lotto draw is the most popular lotto game and has breached the P100-million mark five times this year, including the biggest lotto jackpot worth P375 million that two winners from Metro Manila won last February.

Ray Roquero, PCSO director, said the P100-million jackpot for tonight’s draw is a gift to loyal lotto fans for their continued support of the lottery.

“This is a blowout to our loyal patrons in a fitting payback for their continued confidence as we usher in another good year for lottery and charity in the country,” he said,

“As we say - care, share and win,” Roquero added.
