Noynoy, Mar hold rally in Pampanga

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga , Philippines  – Liberal Party standard-bearer Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and his running mate Sen. Mar Roxas visited this city for the second time last Monday.

During their visit, Aquino and Roxas announced their full-support for the candidacy of city Mayor Oscar Rodriguez, who is seeking re-election.

Aquino and Roxas were with three members of their senatorial slate, former senator Franklin Drilon, Dr. Martin Bautista and Alex Lacson.

Roxas vowed that once elected, they will do everything to eradicate poverty in the country.

“We should unite to fight poverty,” Roxas told some 3,000 supporters during their rally at the compound of the Metropolitan Church here.   – Ric Sapnu
