MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday that two lucky bettors from Pateros and Sta. Maria, Bulacan, split the jackpot prize of P188,155,137.60 for the winning combination 28-03-47-49-05-19 of the 6/49 Super Lotto online lottery draw last Thursday night.

Conrado Zabella, PCSO assistant general manager for online operations, said Cynthia Ignacio lotto outlet sold the first winning ticket at Marco Bank building corner P. Herrera and P. Morciall Street in Pateros, while the other ticket was bought from Benignor Ramos outlet at Waltermart along Bypass Road in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

The two winners who will each get P94 million are the new members of the so-called Super Lotto Millionaires Club.

“Both Super Lotto winning tickets are standard bets and self pick,” Zabella said.

Aside from the two lucky winners, 111 players won P56,000 each after they got five digits of the winning combination.

Two players from Marikina who bought tickets at the Renato Castro outlet in CB and Circle Mall in Marikina Heights won the other six-digit lotto game with the winning combination 1-2-1-6-4-8, which carried a P1.1 million prize.

Meanwhile, two P50-million lotto jackpots are up grabs in tonight’s draw of the Power Lotto and the Mega Lotto games, which remained elusive as of last Wednesday’s draw.

The jackpot prize of the Power Lotto, which is played every Saturday, is now P58 million for a P50 bet while the Mega Lotto 6/45 is expected to hit the P50-million mark after nobody hit the jackpot in the last draw.

Meanwhile, residents in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, said that lucky bettor who won the 6/49 Super Lotto draw last Thursday bears the surname Ramos.

The winner placed his bet at the four-day-old lotto outlet inside the Waltermart.

The lotto outlet is registered as “Lotsa Luck Lotto Outlet,” owned by Jennifer Ramos, a daughter of Sta. Maria Mayor Bartolome Ramos.

“Our outlet is very lucky,” said Rochelle Bernardo, 23, one of the two tellers in the newly opened outlet with a floor space of only four square meters.

Bernardo confirmed that the lucky bettor placed his bet in their outlet on Thursday afternoon, or a day after the outlet went online and started taking bets for the Super Lotto.

Local bettors were seen queuing at the same lotto outlet, saying that it is a lucky outlet.

“May nanalo daw dito kaya tataya ako, baka manalo din ako (They said there’s winner here so I’m betting too, I might win),” said Rafael Roque, 33, of Barangay Sta. Clara.

Other bettors chanced upon by The STAR agreed that the outlet is lucky.

“First two days pa lang nagpatama na sila, suwerte yan (and already they have a winner, that’s lucky),” said Armando Bernardo of Angat town. With Dino Balabo
