Estrada, who was freed from detention at his Tanay, Rizal resthouse last Oct. 26, has been shying away from interviews, while police security personnel assigned to him prevent journalists from getting close to the former president.
According to Ramos, the pardoned leader is still “groping for the right words to say.”
Ramos added that Estrada is still trying to weigh things before he speaks to media.
But in a telephone interview, the former chief executive told The STAR that he is doing okay and that he is not yet granting requests for interviews because he wants more time to rest.
