The filing of applications for the June 2007 nursing licensure examination (NLE) has been extended from May 11 to May 15, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday.
Among those expected to take the test are the passers of the June 2006 batch, who will retake Test 3 and 5 as required by the United States-based Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools.
The extension also covers "new applicants/first timers and selective/voluntary/special retakers."
The PRC said the June 2007 NLE will be held on June 10 and 11 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
"Filing of applications for repeaters is closed already. Those who will not be able to file on May 15, 2007 are advised to file early for the December 2007 NLE," the PRC said. – Sheila Crisostomo
