The Filipina domestic worker facing murder charges before the Kuwait Prosecutors Office has admitted to killing her seven-year-old ward, Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait Ricardo Endaya said yesterday.
In an interview with ABS-CBNs "Magandang Umaga Pilipinas," Endaya said he was able to talk to the 28-year-old Filipina over the phone and she confided to him that she killed her ward because her employers always insulted her.
The Filipina, however, did not give details on the kind of insults she received from her employers whom she had served for seven months.
Endaya said her housemates positively identified her as the one who stabbed her ward and two other children of her employer.
If proven that the crime was premeditated, she could be sentenced to death by hanging.
