Cotabato City judge shot dead by motorcycle-riding men

COTABATO CITY — Motorcycle-riding gunmen shot dead yesterday the presiding judge of Cotabato City Regional Trial Court Branch 15 here in another sensational killing of a ranking government official by suspected guns-for-hire.

Silongan was a former member of Maguindanao’s provincial board.

Witnesses told investigators the motorcycle-riding gunmen casually left the area after shooting Silongan.
